Rockome Gardens, IL May 11-13 2007

There will be a Civil War Reenactment held at Rockome Gardens, just
outside of Arcola, IL. The website is

It will be held May 11-13.

This is part of their "Journey Through Time" festival. They are
really pulling out all the stops for us. There will be full
amenities, including a meal in the field on Saturday and a buffalo
meat dinner on Saturday night. There will also be live music.

There is no Fee for the event.

Space permitting, the civilians will be able to use the structures
within the town.

All I need from you is the name of your unit, the names of the people
attending, and their contacts. To ensure amenities, we will need the
information by April 28.

All troops are needed at this event, Union and Confederate.

The host unit is the 97th Indiana Infantry Co. B.

It is now official. There will be a half a pound of powder for the first 100 registered. There will also be a bounty of $75 per artillery piece for the first five.
