    Default SA Sack Coat

I hope someone can help me. I saw that Dan Wambaugh sells a kit. I was wondering if anyone has gotten the kit? If so how difficult it is to sew it together? I have a little background in sewing. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a SA kit from Wambaugh and I can't sew at all. It was a little advanced for me but with the help of my lovely wife I was able to get it toghter and had a very nice finished blouse. If you have some sewing background you shouldn't have to much trouble. If worse comes to worse then call Dan and he can answer any questions(I had to a few times). Hope this helps.

    Default shirt

I've never sewn a single thing in my life but I got a federal issue shirt kit from ww&company. The instructions were very well done, and with a sewing book from the local library I was able to construction one and I am very happy with it. It was not too difficult but time consuming for inexperienced sewers.

Default WW and Co. SA Kit

I've put two together this past year. If you have time, patience, and care (and someone with some sewing know-how to show you the basic stitches to get you started) it can be done. I jumped into SA blouse #1 with just a little sewing experience and it turned out very nicely. As did coat #2. Dan is there to consult if you have questions--I had many first time through. Just allow yourself plenty of time to put it together.

    Best wishes,

I have not sewn one of his SA kits, but I personaly know that his directions are the best i have ever seen. Plus both Dan and Brian have a good attitude and love answering my questions when i ask.

    Default Wambaugh Kit

I finished one of Dan's issue shirt kits about a month ago. For me, there were moments of frustration over my skill, but the instructions and full color photos were perfect. I think a monkey could put one together with a little guidence.

I think Wambaugh makes the best kit out there. I know, because I'm about to pull the last of my hair out over the County Cloth pattern I'm working on right now, but that's another issue.
