    Default Pedersoli Lorenz

    Hallo!

I came across this this morning:

I do not portray a Civil War soldier, I merely interpret one.

I was on Facebook with Davide Pedersoli last week. He says the new Lorenz will be available by the end of October. I asked him if it would be in the same price range as their Enfields, Springfields, etc. He replied that I should check with the retail distributor.

Looks pretty good! My only criticism (considering I've never seen one in person) would be their choice of wood for the stock.

Unfortunately, this is the best picture I have available until this evening, but the woods seemed to vary greatly. All three 1860 models, but the darker woods are the high block sights with cheekrest, and the lighter wood has the flip sight without the cheekrest.

I see that Regimental QM is asking 17K for the Pedersoli and has started a waiting list.

    Don't you mean $1,700?

Yes sir...$1,700 is what I meant to say... (my friends call it Jeff math!). Thanks for the correction. Anyway, it is a lot of money.
