    Default The Right to "Privacy"

    Folks,

I sold the last of my 1st Sergeant gear to the Segeant in my unit. (5th NHV) I got the chance to march in the ranks again last Sunday as a Private. What a great feeling after almost 15 years with stripes. I haven't been able to participant much in the last 2-3 years and it's only fair to turn the rank over to "newer" men. We marched in the St. Patrick's day Parade in Manchester, New Hampshire. Great to see good NCOs turn a bunch fellah's from 2-3 units, just out of hibernation, into a unit.

It'll be nice to able to "fire" again.

One of the advantages of being a company clerk is that I do not normally have to go out on the battle line if I choose not to.

If I never had to fire my rifle again, that would be just fine with me.

As I've gotten older and more decrepit, I've started saying that a good event is one where I don't have to fire, and a great event is one where I can leave my rifle at home.
