Default Help Wanted - Clerk or Hospital Steward

Looking for someone willing to be a clerk or hospital steward for the upcoming 2007-8 season. Must be reliable. Good penmanship preferred. Prior medical experience (period or modern) preferred, but not required. Must be able to work under pressure. First-person experience preferred, but not necessary.

I will train the applicant via e-mail correspondence or face to face (depending on distance). The goal is to be a clerk or be a steward at Wilderness in May, Fredericksburg in October, and the ultimate challenge, Winter of 64 in February of 08. Typical duties will include logging in patients, filling in ledgers, filling out forms, basic bandaging and minor surgery. As a steward, the former, plus compounding medications and administering them to patients. You may also find yourself carrying equipment for the surgeon and setting up field dressing stations.

If the applicant is a size 38 then I can provide a steward's frock coat. Otherwise you will need to get your own insignia and attach to your fatigue blouse.

Serious letters of interest may be posted to bluemasscat at gmail dot com.

    Thanks!
