    Default Forrest's Escort

Forrest’s Escort is now recruiting a few good men for our Mounted and Dis-mounted unit. We represent the very best Cavalry Company on either side of the great conflict, General Bedford Forrest's hand picked body guard from Lincoln and Bedford Counties, Tennessee, also known as J. C. Jackson's Tennessee Cavalry Company, or just plain "Forrest's Escort Company". We also have a 3 ½ Blakely Rifle and a wagon.
If you would like information on our unit, by all means get in touch with us as soon as possible; but remember, you will be portraying the best unit to ever take the field in the War Between the States.

For all who went to Shiloh you had a chance to see our new wagon we now have in the unit, It was the only union wagon, even with green horses we kept the Union lines on the off site battle supplied with water. We will have our wagon again at Bridgeport. Stop by and have a fire side chat. We are still recruiting, mounted dis-mounted and Teamsters for the wagon crew. (I should have some pictures tonight of our wagon to add.)

For any who missed it at Bridgeport here is a picture of our wagon. I am still looking for a some one with a team of horses to pull it full time. If your interested, half of any bounties we get would be yours. We are also still recruting a few more mounted and dismounted.
