I'm look for a quality Enfield frog and scabbard preferably from Nick Duvall,
Please send photos and price to firstname.lastname@example.org
Would recommend another maker. Duvall's Enfield frog has the buckle, meaning it is for the two band rifle.

My mistake. I thought Nick had the proper frog. Who would you recommend?

Like what Mr. Barry said, the buckle strap frog was designed for use with the 2-band Enfield rifle's sabre bayonet.
However, according to Jim Mayo's research, both styles were imported during the war for use.
Mr. Barry, might be able to shed some light on the amount of buckled frog simported vs. non-buckled frogs. I don't have my copy of Suppliers to the Confederacy with me, but his research might have a figure with them.
Mr. Duvall is no longer making the British scabbards - for what reason, I am unsure of. I just messaged him the other day. I would be curious to know if there are any differences between both frogs besides the buckle strap added. Jarnigan makes both styles. M.B. Young and Company might be able to help you out. He made a CS Lorenz scabbard for me earlier this winter.
