Default cleaning out trunks and wardrobes, crates and boxes.........

I'm cleaning out trunks and wardrobes, crates and boxes. Loaner items, things taken in trade, and all the extras around when one travels with young folks who need to borrow gear. I'll keep adding to this thread as I unearth new things.

    Item 1

A pair of Fugawee Victoria's. These have been worn for several years and one sole has been reglued, but there's wear left in them. At a woman's size 7 B, if they don't fit you, they may fit a young teen who is still growing. The false buttons provide a lovely touch, while the elastic gusset on the other side makes them easy to put on. $45, Paypal preferred, shipping included.

Original Parasol Frame recovered in silk by Marta Vincent

This lovely period piece is newly restored and just arrived at my house yesterday. I ordered it last summer, with an original target delivery date in September. At the time, I needed it for some very specific events in the late fall and extending through January. Real life issues intervened, for Mrs. Vincent, and understandably so. As my primary portrayal is lower class, I don't need this lovely item in the foreseeable future. I've done the waiting on this custom item and its ready to ship to your door.

On an original folding frame, this simple unlined type of parasol was ubiquitous during the period, and is reflective of a more conservative style. The top has a subtle adjustable tilt. It opens smoothly and is a fine example of Mrs. Vincent's restoration work.

Paypal preferred, shipping included. $190 SOLD!

Nifty little wooden barrel. 12 inches high, 8 inches in diameter at the top rim, and of course it bows out a bit more at the center. Like any wooden barrel, you'll need to soak it awhile before you use it. I put a new cork in it. What else you put in it is yore bizness....

    Paypal preferred. Shipping included $65

I think it'd be rude to stash something good in it and not offer a snort to the old owner...
