    Default Imported French Belled Tent

    Hi all,

I recall once seeing a couple of period photos of a French double belled tent. Might have seen it on this forum, but the search brings up about everything but that photo! I know these were imported by both armies. According to the guy at Tent Smiths their tent is based upon these photos and other period documentation.

Do any of you have or know where to find this photo?

    Thanks

Here are a couple of shots of the Tentsmith product. I am showing this for the tent value since the poles and slips are wrong and the chairs need to be burnt. I always like to see wooden stakes...even if these are not regulation. Any wood stake trumps those iron ones. This is a large tent measuring 21' long, 12' wide, 10' high.

This is the tent I need an image of!

    Thanks.
