Question Forum: Branches of Service, Sub Forum Request

Is it possible to request a sub-forum be added to the "Branches of Service" section for:

    "Naval and Marine Corps"

As you can tell from my avatar, I am a CSN reenactor and feel that sometimes this area of our reenactment world is a little over looked by a lot of current reenactors. Their is a great amount of history as it relations to the naval forces of both the USN and the CSN during that time period.

Thanks again for my forum upgrade, really glad to be on board!

Every now and then this query comes up, and the short answer is, unfortunately, no. The process involved with switching over the software is such that it is more work for the owner and moderators than we need. We encourage discussion of all facets of mid 19th century history here as it pertains to the CW/WBTS, and as such, branch/sub forum discussions still fit nicely in one or several of the current folders. I too reenact naval impressions (CSS Savannah/USS Fort Henry among other impressions), and would welcome more naval discussion. We've had some good discussions in the past and would love to have more.

Ok, thanks for the reply and I do understand about the software issue!

Great to meet another CSN reenactor!
