    Mr. barry's book is excellent. I learned many new facts I never thought about. A must for anyone with interested in Civil War history or a reeactor. I didn't even have a chance to read it all the wat through before my father made off with it. 100% satisfied!

    How about "Everyday Life During the Civil War," by Michael J. Varhola. I have it, and it's quite good.

    I like Seasons of War. Looks like it is coming out in a e-book version http://www.amazon.com/Seasons-of-War...seasons+of+war, but can be picked up used pretty easily.
