NYC St. Patricks day Parade

Hey All,
Anyone having any info on this for this year. Last year they were staying in the Armory and taking the subway to the parade. Have not found the info from last year. Love to do the march if I can.

Yes, like last year, the armory is being offered. The parade is on Saturday the 16th (not the 17th). Units are asked to submit their rosters by March 4th for security purposes. Suggest you contact Andy Megill at ammegill@hotmail.com to get involved. Hope to see you there!

In addition, the current line of march has us stepping off at 11:10 A.M., which is significantly earlier than in years past.

Our unit will be marching. Our invitation from Andrew Megill has us stepping off from 47th and 5th at 2:10 "again this year". By 11:10, are you referring to the step off from the armory?

No; the initial invitation specified "2:10 again this year" at 47th St., however an update from Mr. Megill on Wednesday has us actually stepping off at 11:10 from 44th St., per the current line-of-march draft, which is "not likely to change at this point." Exciting stuff!
