For all who are interested, the Governor Guards are raising a CS company for the 150th of Bermuda Hundred April 26-27. This is a very progressive and immersive event in Chesterfield County Va. This event will focus on the 100 acres of woods and pasture that will transform into the 1864 Battle for Drewry's Bluff. The scenarios will mostly conform to the CS troops having their pre-existing fortifications and the Federals confronting those positions, finishing rifle pits, and back and forth attacks on each other’s positions. We will be portraying elements of Hagood's SC Brigade and Johnson's Tennessee Brigade. This sounds like it is going to be an amazing opportunity for us to improve trenches and drive the 48th NY from their rifle pits. Slots are filling up fast and they have four companies already with a max of 150-200 infantry in the trenches.
