    Default Pietta 1851 Navy Colt

This was my first try at home gunsmithing. It was not a spectacular success. This poor thing needs TLC from someone who can get it back into shape. It works fine, I've fired live ammo and blanks from it, but the barrel is out of alignment and the trigger is too short. The wedge has been hammered (but not by me). On the plus side, the action is smooth as silk and the finish has "character". Serial number E51607.

Going for just $95.00. The price includes shipping by Priority Mail and postal insurance. Money order or personal check only, and the item will ship as soon as the bank says it's good.

It's up to you to know if you can legally receive this item. If there's any question in my mind about it, I'll hold up shipping until you send me proof that selling it to you is okay. This may mean a copy of your ID or the address of an FFL holder if you're someplace that's even more under the thumb of the socialists than Maryland, e.g., New Jersey (may God give you strength).

Any questions, send me a PM or e-mail at TaurusM605@verizon.net.

Seriously, I've been going overboard collecting black powder guns while trying to figure out a persona for NCOWS and the GAF. I know, that's backwards, but now I've settled on who and what I'm going to be and getting rid of the ones I don't need (that's "need", not "want" - I want them all, of course). Even with that, there's more than I really need, but the ones I'm keeping are so cool. And of course I can't sell Charlene (Armisport '61 Springfield). Slinging .58 Minié balls downrange is just too much fun

Oh, yeah, we're moving to Virginia (YES!) the beginning of March and I need $$$
