Yesterday was my birthday and my wife gifted me with one of the Tennessee Blazing Star coverlets. The repeated squares design and the tan-dark red colors are quite fetching. The cotton-wool blend makes it lightweight and should be very fitting for our spring-summer-fall reenactments in the south. The dimensions of the coverlet make an amply long, but not overly thick shoulder roll. All in all a fine birthday present. Wouldn't be a bad Christmas gift either, so drop a hint to your sweetie.
