I'd like to know how authentic a quilt patern is
I have a book called "The Civil War Sewing Circle" and in it there is a patern for a Sanitary Commission Cot quilt. The patern they have was inspired appearantly by one that is on display out in California some where at a memorial . Can any one tell me if the sanitary commission had a patern that they used for making Cot quilts for the soldier.. and if so could you tell me how the patern in the book in question matches up. I'm including a picture in the posting of an example of the finished quilt.
