I hate to part with this coat, but I need a bit of extra money for Antietam next week. This is a linen, single-breasted frock coat, drafted from Devere's guide, which I made about 5 years ago. Three button front, exterior pleat pockets, and about 90% hand sewn. A lot of hand finishing is involved to prevent fraying of the seams. The major thing sewn by machine are the pockets, due to a denser cotton fabric.
No structural damage of any kind, just a bit of dirt, which is what happens when you wear a white coat to a reenactment.
