Contact a living history museum with a stocked doctor's office or apothecary. I know the Drug Store at Living History Farms in Des Moines has a fully stocked drug inventory of look-a-likes, and the research group that put it together spent a lot of time doing what you're looking in to. They were able to successfully replicate the look of their entire inventory.

Thank You
There used to be a list on these forums and I cant find it anymore. I used to have the list on paper but when you have 3 young boys and a girl paper gets colored on and thrown out.

The look-alikes, along with other info, was posted on this forum a while back. It's based on a Squib Pannier inventory. I copied it off, and turned it into a spreadsheet. Anybody who wants it can PM me with their email and I'll be glad to send a copy.

Just because children and other fools are everywhere and you can't be watching every second you shouldn't use anything as a substitute that can cause any harm if eaten, breathed or spilt on skin.
