Here is a Armisport 1842 Springfield smoothbore in .69 cal I am offering for sale. This musket is completely defarbed. The defarb work was done by Todd Watts. He relocated the serial number under the barrel, removed all modern markings, darkened and reshaped the stock contours, replaced the front site with the correct brass one, and directly copied an original in his collection with various stamps and inspector marks. It even has a 33 rack number on butt plate. I have all of the paperwork showing his notes and pictures of the original. It is stamped 1847 on lockplate.
Now to the goodies. It includes an original bayonet which is in gorgeous condition. This is not a repro. This is the real deal. Also is a Nick Duvall pre war/ early war bayonet scabbard with original receipt from Duvall leather, A Duvall leather rifle sling, and 50 blank cartridges with two piece powder tubes that replicate the .69 cal Round ball rounds. These are museum quality. $900 for the whole package, shipping west of the Miss. may require an additional shipping charge. I accept MO or paypal plus their 4% fee. I can tell you, this is a gorgeous package and you will be hard pressed to find any more bang for your buck. Thanks. Pleaase email me at meathookst11@yahoo.com or PM me here if you have any questions.
