Saber Belt Rig made by Doug Kidd, + cap box + pistol box $ 95 shipped

I have for sale a saber belt rig made by Doug Kidd for sale. It comes with a mounted service buckle with an applied silver wreath. It is adjustable from 36 " to 39 ", so it will accomodate someone with a 34-37 " waist (allowing two inches for the coat and shirt underneath of it). Included are a Federal shield-front cap box (like new) and a pistol box (with well-worn outside leather). The owner's name is inked inside the belt but is barely visible. It is missing two leather loops to tighten up two straps {see last two photos), but the rig is fine without them, or they can be replaced at little cost. Other than that the rig is in very good condition. The belt has been treated with neatsfoot oil to keep it supple. I'm not sure who made the cap box. The pistol box was purchased from the Upper Mississippi River Valley sutler. The buckle came from a Burgess & Co. belt. The belt itself was purchased from Doug Kidd. I am asking $ 95, which includes shipping and is less than 1/2 of the cost of the items, if purchased new from Doug Kidd. If interested, please contact me at: beatlefans1@verizon.net
