Default Artillery Rounds for educational events

I am looking for a source for any "prop" rounds for civil war era cannons. We do a few living history events and school events a year and would love to have some rounds for the public to see the different types of solid, case and so on. Maybe even in a cut away form for cannister rounds. Any help would be very appreciated.

I bought a cut-away Parrott case shot from this company--it's excellent quality:

Regimental Quartermaster also makes them, although I have no idea of the quality or how the compare to other products. Just by glancing at the websites, it would appear the above mentioned site is more detailed but also more expensive. Anyway, here is the link at Regimental Quartermaster; the shells are about half way down the page.

Thanks for both sites. I'll look into both of them.

    Default Artillery Rounds

    Rob,
I offer Artillery ammunition for firing and display. A not eon the rounds:

    1. Regimental Quartermaster rounds are resin, so they do not weigh as much as the originals.

    2. Paulson Brothers offers rounds, but they are zinc.

I offer Rounds that are made from Iron. They weigh what they should; They are the correct material size and weight. I offer for smooth bores, 6 and 12 Pdr Shot, shell Case and canister, 3" Ordnance rifle Hotchkiss Shot, Shell and Canister and Parrott Shot, case shell and canister. Prices are a little more than the resin, but under the paulsons and AAA. All of these rounds could actually be fired from that particular cannon.

Trail Rock is the one to go with, I have several of their rounds in our display and their quality is the best I've seen so far. We thought about doing a cut away canninster, but found you are better off with a full round and some loose balls. We also included priction primers and various fuses. It is much easier to show the public than try to explain.

Thanks again to Steve and John.. I'll check out Trailrocks site. He just delivered a top notch carriage to us for a 12lb Mt. Howitzer we just put in the field. Top notch from one end to the other. We couldn't be happier with it.
