Looking for PA Unit ( or close to PA) interest in drumming

I am a life long drummer and have a lot of experience with drum corps style rudimental drumming and civil war history in general. I have always thought of getting involved in reenacting. I attended for the first time the Remembrance Day in Gettysburg and although I have done many parades in my day I have gotten the bug to play a civil war drum.

I am beginning the process of familiarizing myself with the different drum cadences and would like to ply my trade with a decent group of other musicians.

So - I am looking to see who I might be able get involved with. I live in Central PA area but can travel. Let me know if anyone has need for a drummer.

Try the Logan Guard (http://46thparegband.50webs.com/) also. Good folks, a good band (although their Principle Musician unfortunately recently passed away) and they're also central PA (Altoona). They'll be at Baker Mansion in Altoona the last weekend of the month for a local event.

The Federal Volunteer Brigade has great field music. Formerly called the Federal Volunteer Brigade Fife and Drums... have recently changed their name to the Calvert Arms Fife and Drum. They have members all over but mostly in PA.
