The annual Chadds Ford Fair Days in Delaware County Pennsylvania, (September 8 & 9, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) would like to include the civil war in their event this year. Demonstrations, such as gun firing, manuvers, etc. would be a great plus. Although this is short notice, I am hoping there many be some local reenactors available who would be willing to share their wealth of knowledge and help to make this event take place.

This annual family friendly fair and craft show is sponsored by the Chadds Ford Historical Society and draws up to 10,000 visitors a year! The annual festival commemorates the anniversary of the Revolutionary War Battle of Brandywine on September 11, 1777 with Colonial crafts demonstrations, Brandywine Valley art and artisans, live music, food, children's rides and games, tours of the John Chads house, and more. It would be a great honor to have the civil war represented at this event. For more information on this event and directions, you may visit their website at: http://www.chaddsfordhistory.org/

Due to the shortage of time I would need to have reenactors and a description of the demonstrations that could contributed as soon as posible, (but by no later than July 31st to put this event together properly).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Please contact Tina Liberts at tliberts@verizon.net if you would like to be involved. Any sugestions and/or questions are welcome.
