Default Can I ask a favor?

    Fellas,

I know some folks have a certain way of doing things that's sometimes hard to change. But can I ask a favor? When you sell things on the forum, could you not replace the original asking price with "sold"? Maybe this is just the way things are done on forums. I ask this because when I'm looking to buy or sell something, it's nice to know the going price for an item. Just gives you an idea what's fair to ask for an item, or what you might expect to pay for a comparable item. I hope this isn't an unreasonable request....But others might appreciate it too. Moderators, if this needs to be moved, please do so.Thanks!

    All the best!

That would be a favorable thing to do, but one cannot edit a post outside of a few minute window at this forum (that unfortunately is just how the software is set up and it would be quite a task to change it). It is at the orginal poster's discretion how he/she marks items sold in subsequent posts, but the recommendation is to "cut and paste" the full original post and place sold or take out the item completely. It is standard practice for moderators to close the post once all items have sold
