I spent yesterday walking the property with Court Abel, maps in hand, looking over the event site one last time.

Court and company have done a beautiful job of restoring the property to look 1862.

Split rail fence has replaced wire in 90% of the site, house is completely restored, as well as barn number 1, number 2 is still under construction, and will be during the event ( but done by our 2013 event there next spring)

We have the perfect grounds for the scenarios( including some great swamps that make the place feel like the Virginia Peninsula), with great approach marches for both sides. Camping is excellent, and all logistics are set.

Bring spare pairs of socks, it was wet then, and it will be here as well....States Rights guys get ready to expereince what it was like attacking through Boatswains Swamp!
