Zacharia Driggers, age 23 from South Carolina, killed at Gettysberg.

Hello all,

A friend of mine has recently found out that a descendant of her's was killed at Gettysburg. Any chance anyone knows where he could be researched? At this time All I know is that his name was Zacharia Driggers, age 23 from South Carolina and that he died in one of the actions at Gettysburg.

Any help will be appreciated.

Heres the info on Zachariah Driggers from CWData.....Residence Tattnall County GA;
Enlisted on 8/31/1861 as a Private.

On 8/31/1861 he mustered into "B" Co. GA 61st Infantry
He was Killed on 7/1/1863 at Gettysburg, PA


Intra Regimental Company Transfers:
* from company B to company K


Georgia..not SC from these records

From a quick search on Ancestry.com...Zachariah Driggers was the son of William S. and Charlotte Driggers. Hope this helps.
