    Default Confederate monument destroyed

hello, one year ago, the Confederate monument in Reidsville, NC was hit by a truck, in the middle of the night. Now, the city is doing their best to keep it down. The monument was damaged, soldier broke into many pieces. It is sad to see such a beautiful monument get taken down. Here is a link to a facebook page, a group fighting to get the monument put back up.

Looks like the North Carolina United Daughters of the Confederacy got the okay to proceed in making a new statue:

The monument on Monument Avenue in Lynchburg has been on the ground for sometime now, it has been hit more than once over the years. http://www2.newsadvance.com/news/201...ng-ar-1944079/ It isn't the only CW monument in need of repair in the city, the city where Co. G 11th VA was raised.
