    Default Thanks for the info

    Chris,

Thank you. This really helps. Our major issue was going to be the need for garrison camping. As you are probably aware, most artillery units have A-frames, so if it was a campaign event we were going to have problems (execpt for my son the bugler who is ready with his shelter half!). It sounds to me like this will be a great event and what most of our group like to do in terms of stepping it up a notch, but still making it easier to participate with the camping. I will send them all your reply to be and re-emphasize the rules and regs. There is a group of us always pushing for good new events that are not out on a soccer field so we are looking forward to this. Off the top of your head do you know what artillery numbers look like? Thanks again.

    Default Spectator Information

I might have asked some of this in an email, but thought I would post here, too, just in case others have the same question.

I think I read somewhere that the Battle of Glendale on Sunday will be open to spectators. Is this correct? If so, two questions:

    1) Will spectators be parking where we do, or somewhere else? and
    2) Will spectators be permitted in the camps, before or after the battle?

Thanks for this and any other information you can provide.

    Gents,

Will try to ansswer all questions in one post, wish me luck-

Federal Artillery- Understand there are 3 Fedral guns, plus 2 CS going blue for some of the scenarios....all we really need becasue of time/distance etc...

Rather have a handful of guns doing a stellar job, than stacking them in and limiting all manuever space...

    As to the public-

    Glendale is a public battle

1- Parking for the public will be seperate unless weather dictates we use only the "upper" field
2- They MIGHT make it into camps pre battle...probably not ini huge numbers...

Hope this helps you fellers out

Most of the photographs of this event are posted. There is some video I will begin to edit this weekend.

100% of the proceeds of print and download contributions will be donated to The Brittany’s Hope Foundation in support of the efforts of Rear Rank Productions and the Lee Takes Command participants. Brittany's Hope Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to aiding and facilitating adoptions of special needs children from around the world. Dedicated to improving the quality of life for all God's children, especially those who wait in institutions or orphanages, live in extreme poverty or under the duress of slavery, abuse or war; and they seek, create and support humanitarian programs which accomplish these goals and extend all efforts to champion and campaign for children's rights regardless of race, religion, or country of origin.
    Thank you for your support.
