19th Century Firemen/Fire Zouaves Needed 8-11, Gettysburg, PA
Gents,
the Gettysburg Fire Department is requesting a contingent of 19th century firemen/fire zouaves to participate in their annual muster and parade. We will be pulling an original hose cart from 1863 for the parade. Participants would meet at the Gettysburg FD Hall and be transported by the FD to the parade site in Heidlersburg, PA.
The event is Saturday, August 11th.
For more info, please PM me or post below.
Thank you!

" ' Ellsworth! Remember Ellsworth!' was the chorused battle-cry with us all, and at each shout horsemen would fall from their horses, victims upon our altar of vengeance." -Member of Co, B, 1st NY Fire Zouaves, NY Leader, July 23, 1861.
