Quality Civilian Sack Coat, Shirt, Trousers & Vest
Since I now cannot get my "reenactment closet" doors closed I am looking at thinning out the herd a bit of clothing either I have worn little, have no real plans on wearing soon, or were impulse buys. I am starting with some civilian wear and in a day or two will be listing some Confederate jackets.
All my items are in excellent servicable / wearable condition. I take great care of my reenacting clothing and items and have had a penchent for quality authenticly made items in construction and materials.
About the fit: I am 5'-11" and weigh 180 pounds. I usually wear a 46 jacket and 36" waist / 31"-32" inseam in CW tousers (I wear 34W x 32/33L in modern jeans). I wear a 46 / 17" neck in modern shirts.
1) Joe blunt made civilian sack coat. Beautiful green light weight wool with a golden patterened lining. Extensive handsewing throughout. One minor 1" rip in the lining where it joins the sleeve but easily repairable. Original goodyear buttons. Two lower pockets and one chest pocket. Size is a generous 46. $100
2) Charlie Childs made shirt. Banded collar and lined in the chest. Blue and white checked. Size is a 44. Dated on the inside "January 1993". Yes, 1993 and still in nice clean condition! I would keep this shirt forever if it were not tight on me... $75
3) Corner Clothiers shawl collar vest made from an irridesent red brocade that changes colors at different angles in the light. Brown polished cotton back. Size is a 44/46. I have hardly even worn this vest. At $160 new this at $85 is a bargain.
4) Stonybrook Confederate / Civilian Trousers. Charcoal Gray. Scalloped watch pocket. Buckle back. Black stippled tin buttons. Hardly worn and crisp. $110.
Pay Pal is the preferred method of payment. Shipping on anything is $15 via Priority Mail Flat Rate Medium Box and includes insurance and delivery confirmation. I can ship a couple of bucks cheaper without insurance or delivery confirmation, but the risk would be all yours.
