Im currently new to the Savannah Ga from NY area and im looking for a union reenactment unit. If any one knows of anyfeel free to send me some info thanks.

Try calling Fort Mcalister, talk to a man named Danny, he should be able to direct you. they do events there alot. Hope it helps

That man named Danny at Fort McAllister is Danny Brown, park manager and host of some of the highest quality living history programs around (all in the wonderful historic setting of a Confederate earthen fort). Danny is not a reenactor, but he does have the contacts for most of the locals. One unit of which I can say a lot of good is the 48th NY, who have local members as well as other parts of Georgia and Florida. They frequently attend events at McAllister as well as host an event at Fort Pulaski
