To whom it may concern:

In haste to depart Shiloh, we left without retreiving our unit's ammunition box that had been left in the ordnance wagon. Our unit, the 33rd Ala. Infantry, Co.E, part of Cotton States Batt. served with King's Brigade during the event.
The ammunition box is marked with our unit identification.
While it is simple enough to make a new box and roll additional ammunition, this particular box served us well at Mudlow and Gettysburg 135 and is a trusted friend and veteran of a sort.
If you know its whereabouts, please send me a PM so I can arrange to retreive it.
