Up for sale is one completely handsewn battleshirt/overshirt in size 44-46 $98 shipped. This is made from a medium heavy cotton with a slightly napped (softer) inside and normal nap exterior, in a homespun, earth tone plaid. This is patterned from period images of Western battleshirts (similar to the Jesse James shirt and others) and different laborer's overshirts. It has original Goodyear buttons at the cuffs and antique brass ball buttons around the neck opening. This shirt also features several period construction techniques not often seen on reproduction goods such as using the selvedge edges at the bottom of the body, all flat-felled seams, a slanted pocket as opposed to straight, the V-neck opening, and a folded body seamed at the top.
