Im offering this set of well used accoterments. South Carolina plates included, as are the tins (need some re-soldiering). The belt is holed for 32-40" waist but there is room to go either way. I am asking $100.00 plus $5.00 for shipping. This will make a good set for S.C. or with a change of plates a Federal or any Confederate impression.
It is a Federal 1857 patern .58 cal cartridge box.
The Inspector mark on the front flap is R. White Sub Inspector U.S. ORD. DEPT.
The maker mark on inside flap is J. CUMMINGS Springfield Mass.
The white lettering inside the Cap pouch is a previous owners name, but it can be easily scraped off, also one of the side tabs on the flap has some minor loose threads that could easily be repaired. let me know if you are interested, it is a good sturdy set of leathers.
