I'm new to reenacting and would like to be an officer's servant.

Given that event distances are pretty large west of the Rockies, what part of California?

Do you have a preference as to whether you are servant to a Federal officer or a Confederate officer, either being possible?

Thank you for the reply. I am in the SF Bay Area, however, I am open to travel a long distance for the right Unit.

Yes, I should have made that clear that I prefer to serve under a Confederate officer.
