Sam Doolin made CS Gardner canteen. Originally bought from S&S Sutler in Gettysburg. Body and spout are made of beautiful cherry wood that has an excellent looking grain pattern. Like new, used once at a living history. Canteen has been stored with water in it to keep the wood from shrinking. The wood has been kept clean and oiled. I've added a new leather stopper chain and cotton strap. This is an awesome canteen made using unbelievable craftsmanship. Hard to find. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
