Default Any mounted Cavalry units in Kentucky

I am looking for a Confederate or Union mounted unit in the Lexington area. Are there any there?

    Jeff,

I don't know where you are looking on the authenticity spectrum, but if you're looking for a top shelf group of guys with great impressions, you can't go wrong with Ethan Harrington, Jerry Ross and the Hog Drivers. Most of their guys are from TN, but I know at least Ethan lives in KY. Send me a PM if you need/want their contact info.

    Take care,

Thanks for the info. But are there any in the Lexington area? This way monthly training and getting together would be less of a concern or problem.

    Jeff,
I fairly certain these two unit operate out of Ky. You will need to contact them for details, as I am a progressive Confederate Infantryman.

Does your unit have a web page and how many times do you meet for training and events?

I watched Mike water his horse in the Ohio River on the 2nd Morgan's Raid.....only trooper to do so.
