Deconflication 2015
In the spirit of Chris Anders 2012 deconflication list......please list all NATIONAL, LARGE (1,000 + reenactors), MILITARY (battle reenactments), ACW events for 2015 (1865). Coming up with the 2012 list in late October 2011 is much too late to deconflict.....most planning cycles are one (OK two) + years for these extravaganza's.
When in March will the Bentonville event be?
[FYI, the Waterloo 200th reenactment event will be huge and colorful!]

I know it's still a long way out, but will you be looking at using the original ground, or will this be something that you'll be looking to do in E-town? As Federal cavalry, I would LOVE to be involved in something down there!

Doing Saylor's Creek in the same style as Chuck Hillsman did over many years would be a real treat.
I would consider coming out of retirement, especially if CS Sailor's were allowed.

I've been wanting to an Appomattox Campaign event about as long as I've been in the hobby...it's the time when Fed cav. get to be the rock stars.

Fed Cav. is a must for this event!
Makes for a great deal of cross country and overland play time for the mounted guys.
The few that Chuck got to play were, always a major headache for those of us that played CS. Made the game all that much more fun during this long chase.
The actual fight, however, required a strong Infantry presents.
A running gun battle of this type... can't be compared to anything within my experience in reenacting. Great fun!
Very 'Campaigner' its style, and long before those terms were applied to this type of scenario.
