Lyman Minie Bottom Plug

Does anyone have any idea of how much it will cost me to replace the bottom plug in a Lyman 58 caliber Minie ball mold? I bought this thing years ago with handles (which is what I mostly wanted), but no botom plug, and now would like to use it. Lyman refuses to give me any kind of estimate over the phone or by Email, says I have to send the thing in first. I can buy a brand new LEE mold for less than $25, so that's pretty much the price "ceiling".

Just a suggestion on my part...
If you want to buy a Lee mould at $25.00, please do so.
But, you are very much mistaken if you compare a Lyman mould to that of a Lee

I own both and agree with Blair. The Lee mould doesn't compare with the Lyman mould.

Doesn't compare on what basis? I use both LEE and Lyman moulds for bullets shot from modern handguns and rifles. The Lyman moulds will last forever, but other than that, I see little or no difference in quality of cast bullets. I am not a commercial caster, nor am I planning to supply a regiment or even a platoon - just me. Any thoughts?

In the past, I have had a couple of moulds, that I bought off online auctions, repaired by Lyman. I have found their prices quite reasonable. And their turn around fast.
