Default Original Mississippi Saber Bayonet for Colt Conversion

    All,

After much thought I want to offer up an 1861 marked Collins and Company Saber Bayonet that was made for the Colt Conversion 1841 Mississippi.

It is stamped 1861 on the blade, with the serial number on the brass handle.

It is in great shape and functions fine- the locking mechanics are great.

It has the 25.5 inch blade that all of this model have.

Offering it for $325 plus shipping.

I do take Paypal, and email me to get this one!

    Chris,

Yes, I agree with Curt! Photos would go a long way in helping to properly identify this bayonet and which variation and/or alteration it may have been intended for. Photos that would focus on the bayonet lug side of the hilt. A measurement of the muzzle end of bore of the hilt would also help.
