    Default Featured Item

    Civilian cap, at boydmiles.com.
Trying something new here, a Featured Item that will change when sold. I make a lot of one of a kind items just to keep from getting burned out on doing the same old thing all the time but it is kind of hard to list such things so I thought "why not put them on the front page?" so I did, this is the first. A civilian cap I keep seeing in period photos that I wanted to try out, here is the result. When sold another item will appear (depending on my ability to get moving on it anyway, that is always a problem).
Thanks for your time and be sure to click on some of the buttons on the front page for some articles and such you might like. It is all very poorly arranged and needs to be redone but I really don't feel like doing that so I hope you don't get lost down any of the many dead end streets or dark alleys.

that is indeed something found in a lot of period images but not seen in the reenacting arena today. Nice job

I have changed the feature item, it is now a belt. Forgot to say the first time but the feature item is at a sale price and will cost more if you don't buy it while featured. I'll change items as I get around to it so you have who knows how long to act. Also have two officer's haversacks left, one was listed as sold pending funds but the funding got washed away in a flood so it is back on the market.
Email works much better than a PM here as far as my noticing it so hit one of my many email me links on my site or email me at: boydmiles1959@wmconnect.com

The cap from the first post is still available and is on the cap page, there is a button marked "caps" on the main page that will get you there. I will add more caps of other styles as I can get the kids to hold still long enough to get photos, they are not the best fashion models.

Changed the featured item, there is now a belt page as well, very slowly getting the web page under control.
