Hello!

I have been doing research on early war guidons, especially the one carried by Company C, 2nd Dragoons. I have found the verbage on the flag, but what would the reverse side look like. Would it be readable, or would it apprear backwards. The Flag reads C Compy, 2nd DRAGOONS, but would it be legible on the other side? I have seen examples from the 5th US Cav at the Cavalry Museum, and they were backwards on the reverse. But I have also seen some that are legible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
