I can only speak for this forum, and that is that we all come from varied walks of life, have different styles of reenacting, most come to share and garner information that will make them better reenactors/living historians, and we as moderators strive to facilitate that. All of the other forums may or may not have the same intended purposes, may or may not cater to the same clientele, and may or may not be harmonious and user-friendly. This isn't the place to discuss them - only those forums provide the opportunity to do so. Lets worry about Civil War Reenactors Forum here, and address questions about the other forums on those appropriate sites.
