Default StoneWall Brigade Reenactors From 125th..

Hello, I was wondering if out there where any reenactors that had a) Participated in the 125th events, b) Remembered the 27th Va., Co. D'; aka "The Millets?"-- once you had met us, you wouldn't forget us<g,>
and c) Any former members of the 125th SWB still in reenacting?

    Remembering the:
    Colonel,
    Mayor,
    Chief,
    my buddy Jabba,
and the rest of the 27th, Co.D'
    with fondness...

I am one of the 125th set, but I reenacted a good bit in California at the time with the NCWA, and I've always worn Union blue. It's been a long time since then, hasn't it?

I was at the 125th Gettysburg and Shiloh events with the old 2nd MD C.S. I have some years and pounds on me but still look forward to spring and another season in the hobby.

Yes, I was there along with a few other members here. 4th. Va., Co. A, the Wythe Grays. I'm no longer active, though.

I am not one however the next spring I was in.

The Stonewall Brigade is still here.

Two current members from the 125th that I can recall.

    Eric Mink - 4th VA

    Jamie George - 5th VA

The brigade we be at 150th with the Southern Division as the 4th Alabama.

Others from the 125th years show up now and then.

Jabba was at a living history we did at Morven Park in Leesburg the Summer of 2009.

The 27th D has only 3 active members, I'm sure they could use another musket.

Wow, reading the answers from you guys has brought back more memories...Anyone out there remember the bus trip from Virginia to Shiloh, and Bill shouting to the driver.." Ray... get us *out* of Virginia!!!!"
Those 25 years went *fast,* yeah?

Hmmm, wonder if the 150th people would allow the 125th people to show up at Manassas, doing an impression of an "1895 Veterans Reunion" in period attire?

    Default We were younger then.

I was in the 4th Virginia, Stonewall Brigade at the 125th anniversary. I am not sure what company we were but I believe our Captain was **** Cheatham. I have registered for the 150th but I intend to see it from the other side this time.
