Default WTB Mexican War Forage Cap

I need to get a good quality caped wheel hat in size 7 3/8 or so. Needs to be regulation and would prefer a later model with the flatter bill.
    Thanks

Sorry, but they don't offer a caped military model. They do nice mechanics hats but I require a late issue 1859 style.

    Default Call Dan!

He did two for a museum I worked at, these are the best I've seen without going the $200+ route. He offers the Type I, II, and II and will do the colored bands if you want. The padding and sweatbands pasteboard reinforcing will be correct for each version.

I completely forgot about Dan Giannini. He made stuff for our 1841 Seminole War officer at the museum, and he does indeed make a decent cap for the price. Not quite 100% but a value for the dollar.
