The Society is holding its annual conference:
CROWNE PLAZA WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA -- AT FORT MAGRUDER
Built Around Redoubt # 3, one of the redoubts from the 1862 Battle of Williamsburg -- April 1st, 2nd & 3rd, 2011
You can still register. Sessions on Friday & Sunday along with a guided day at the Mariner’s Museum in Newport News, VA where we’ll see portions of the U.S.S. Monitor that have been raised.
Dr. Bob Karczewski (DDS) will discuss the results of his “Bite the Bullet” research that he conducted at Marquette University using an electron microscope on bullets that claimed to have been bit by CW soldiers in medical situations. His research is very interesting.

Dr. Guy Hasegawa will be presenting on artificial limbs and their makers.
The conference is not to be missed if you live it that section of the country. The society has most of its conferences in the midwest and Tennessee region. Please take advantage of the location!
