FS: Top quality P58 Enfield Rifle

Folks,

I have for sale a superb P1858 Enfield rifle. It is mostly Parker Hale parts, the stock was defarbed by Todd Watts with CS import markings put on and the original contours added. The barrel was defarbed by Lodgewood with the correct proof stamps and has been left armory bright. The lock has a new Parker Hale plate that I left in its original condition so you could choose what stamp you wanted on it (I can have that done by Todd with the extra cost added, or you can have Todd do it.) The lock internals are all PH except the tumbler which is original. The butt plate and rammer were engraved with a rack number as per the original CS marked P58 after which it was modeled. The stock was stained and finished to match the superb original Enfield rifle at College Hill arsenal. Has the correct square-eared washers and original sling swivels.

Truly one of the finest reproduction Enfield rifles money can buy! In total the rifle weighs just 8 pounds five ounces! It comes with a handsewn reproduction CS-made leather sling.

Price is $850.00 postage paid. If anyone out there has done the math on a Parker Hale Enfield, added the work by Todd and the original sling swivels from Lodgewood, you would be hard-pressed to put this all together for less than that price!
