Default WTB - Used Wall Tent Civil War era or before for reenacting

    Good Day all,

My wife and I are just entering the reenacting world and need a tent to start out. We are looking for a good broken in tent, with or without the wood poles, stakes etc to use for our first camp out in the spring. Who has something for us?

Default Common Tent (commonly known as "A frame") available

I have a common tent (commonly known as an "A frame") available. It was made by Yakima Tents (http://www.yakimatent.com/civil.html). Its dimensions are: Length: 7' 2" Width: 7' 10" Ridge: 6' 9". It was made of 10 oz single filled duck. It does not have a floor. I made two upright poles and a ridge pole for the tent. All three poles were painted with two coats of olive drab paint. One of the upright poles was reinforced with a piece of metal; the other upright pole should have this done as well since it is starting to crack at the end. I made enough wooden stakes for the tent. If you live near New Jersey you could pick it up. If we attend the same event next year I could bring it with me. If it has to be shipped I would advise just getting the tent and making your own poles and stakes. Yakima Tent charges $150 for this tent. I would like to get $100 for it, which does not include shipping. If you are interested, please contact me at: beatlefans1@verizon.net
