This is a good, well run event and my kudos to Capt. Smith and the folks who put this event on. There is a goodly number of civilians present, and I'm sure you would be welcomed!

    Default Civilian camp

    Hi Melissa,

At this time, there aren't plans for a separate civilian camp, but it is a fair question. I'll get with the major companies involved and see what would be best for them and post a reply on this forum.

For those of you that have been there...... This is a hard secret to keep!!!! Being involved from the first year it has been a delight to see a new event grow , the attendance seemed to triple at least, and the little snags were worked out to the positive side all around. The location is amazing and the orginizers have gone above and beyond to accomidate the reenacting community that attends. Yes Its a mainstreem event but this years attendance of progressive and beyond folks was noted everywhere. The battlefield though not grand in scale is grand in tactical options and this past years battles were fast and furious. The whole community seemed to welcome the event with open arms not just for the odvious reasons but every where we went in town people would stop us and overload us with thanks and questions about the hobby and time period. I feel its only going to get better and if you get the chance to go.....don't hesitate!!! Just My Humble Opinion... shared by those that know........ Paul Lopes 88th NYSVI
