Default 11th NY for 1st Manassas???

I know for the 145th, the Liberty Rifles and 5th NY combined to do an Ellsworth's Fire Zouave impression for 1st Manassas.

From what I hear, the LR has other commitments this upcoming year. Is anyone else planning on doing the 11th NY?

I cannot speak for the LRs, but I have been speaking to alot of people getting ready for the 150th as the 11th. Im making a run of fire shirts, kepis and 1st issue uniforms. If you would like, I can keep you updated on the progress and put you on our list for the uniforms.

I already have the kit from 4 years ago, but will not be using it this time around. I'll be with the CVG in the Southern Division.

But thanks anyway, I was checking to see if any progressive units were making an effort like 4 years ago.

Ergh, I don't even know. It was easier to organize these things when I didn't work weekends and lived in Goofysburg. My site is still up, the info's still there. Go nuts. Last time, it was a dual-company effort between the 5th and LR. As my own LR is max-efforting the 2nd MS thing, I don't know how involved I can/will be in orchestrating an 11th NY effort. I still have the material that Shaun needs to do the flag cooped up here that I really should get back to him. If nothing else, the heck with it, I'm going to go for a walk down Canal Street in April, present a flag to myself, do the seven-count "Tiger! Zouave!" cheer, and then go back to work.

Cool Fire Zouaves for 150th MANASSAS

    Wow,
I guess I should come on here more often!

I am trying to organize something for 150th Manassas as the 11th NY FIRE ZOUAVES along the lines of last time. It was a blast, and looked amazing, and would be a slap in the face of all that is Ellsworthy if no one did it!!!

The 11th NY First Fire Zouave impression is a go for 150th Manassas. The 5th
NY along with various elements of the National Regiment are going to portray the FZ and welcome anyone else who is interested. Please PM me for if you desire more info. Shaun G. and I have been working on some details. Since we all did this at 145FM it is not anticipated to be all that problematic.

    Default Zulu Wars

With the large numbers of progressive reenactors going Cs for this event, I predict Zulu wars on the level of the 125ths.

I winder if anyone is talking about force ratios?

... That registration is going to be capped at 7500 due to space constraints and "other" considerations of which I have no details. Artillery is by invitation only, and "NO WALK ON REGISTRATION" is in a couple of places in bold letters on the event website.
